Hello, I'm working on a Mac using mac OS Mojave Version 10.14. Two days ago something happened and every time I open AE I get this message "Your application install seems to be damaged, please reinstall the application." and every time I open Photoshop or Illustrator I get this message "Adobe Application Manager required to verify your license is missing or damaged. Please download new copy fo Adobe App Manager." Also my Adobe App Manager icon in the top tool bar disappeared. I downloaded the Creative_Cloud_Installer and I've tried to install it about four times. I quit the install and it freezes during trying to quit so I have to restart my computer to get it to go away. I don't know if that has anything to do with what's going on, but I need some help to get this figured out. I can still use my programs, but something is wrong and I want to stay on top of things and get it fixed now. I believe it was step 2 from post #1 "Uninstall the CC Desktop App." I went to that link and followed those steps. I tried calling the Adobe customer service number yesterday, and was on hold for 40min, and my phone finally gave up and ended the call by itself. Step #5 called for downloading and reinstalling the Creative Cloud App. Using Chrome, every time I clicked on the download button from that link it would just go to a blank page. So I jumped over to Safari and was able to see the page and download the install. Zippyj, sorry that you continue to face errors related to the Adobe Application Manager becoming damaged. To avoid any of us providing suggestions that you have already implemented can you please provide a detailed post of each and every step you have utilized to resolve the error. The suggestions offered by Kglad, in message #1, should allow for the resolution of the current error. So providing details on what steps you implemented, and any difficulties you encountered, would be helpful, Zippyj. Let me see if I can remember because I did a bunch of searches for what to do and tried several things.1) I don't have the ACC Desktop App on the top toolbar. So to uninstall, I tried going to Applications - Uninstall Adobe Lightroom, and I get this message... Adobe Application Manager is needed to uninstall your product. Adobe Application Manager is needed to resolve this problem, however it is missing or damaged. Download a new copy of from Adobe.com, or install this product again. 3) Or I try clicking on Uninstall Adobe Audition CC 2018 or Uninstall Adobe Media Encoder and nothing happens when I double click it.4) I go to the link (from #2 above), I download the Creative_Cloud_Installer. I start the installation process and it freezes at 40%. Step 2)Click on the below link and download Adobe Application Manager and install the same . Manager9.0_Once the installation process is completed, installation box will disappear. I've tried doing that about four times and it freezes at that point every time.5) I've also tried this (see pic below). Then open " Applications" folder and locate Adobe Application Manager launch icon and double click on it and update. Please try Kglad's most recent suggestion in post #8. In particular, the last link offered by Kglad provides several solutions that have not yet been implemented. I got down to the "Trash Adobe Application Manager folders" step and I didn't have that folder so I couldn't complete this either.
